Unhangouts -- for unconferences?

Just came across Unhangouts, an open-source videoconferencing platform from the MIT Media Lab.

It’s interesting and possibly useful: instead of being aimed at presentations, this one is all about self-organizing breakout sessions, so it might work for unconferences and the like.

The only serious problem I see with it is that it is focused on groups of 10 or fewer, which is rather small even for an unconference. But since it is open source, it might be worth exploring whether that cap can be raised for a self-hosted server.
